Privacy Policy
A plain-language record of what ViralAnatomy collects, why we need it, and the choices you have.
Scope
This policy applies to ViralAnatomy at viralanatomy.com, including its research library, account, and workspace features. It does not cover third-party sites linked from our research.
Information we collect
We collect the information needed to operate the service:
- Account data: your email address, authentication identifier, and session information. If you use Google sign-in, Google may also provide your name and profile image.
- Workspace data: product names and URLs, selected categories and brand sets.
- Product-analysis input: a URL you submit and publicly available page content fetched from that URL so we can suggest relevant categories and brands.
- Usage and technical data: page paths, referrer, browser/device information, approximate region, IP address, and security logs handled by our hosting and analytics providers.
Signed-out workspace choices are stored in your browser until you clear that browser data or sign in and sync them.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate you, save and sync your workspace, analyze a submitted product URL, operate and secure the service, understand aggregate usage, troubleshoot problems, and comply with law. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Google user data
ViralAnatomy requests only basic profile and email access. We do not request access to Gmail, Drive, Calendar, contacts, or other Google content.
Information received from Google APIs is used only to create and operate your ViralAnatomy account. Our use and transfer of that information complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train a generalized AI model.
Retention and deletion
We keep account and workspace data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Security and operational records may be kept for a limited period. Provider backups may take additional time to expire.
To request access, correction, export, or deletion, email ideamarketfit@gmail.com from the address associated with your account. You can also remove local-only data by clearing site data in your browser and revoke Google access from your Google Account.
Your choices
You may use the public library without creating an account, sign out at any time, unsubscribe from requested email, clear browser storage, or ask us to delete your account data. Depending on where you live, local law may provide additional privacy rights; contact us to exercise them.
Security and international use
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Our providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to their safeguards and applicable law.
Children
ViralAnatomy is a business research service and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can remove it.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the product changes. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Questions, privacy requests, and complaints can be sent to ideamarketfit@gmail.com.
