Read the analyst's note — why this machine is built this way
The reviewed sample contains fifteen videos from fourteen independent YouTube creators. The repeated problem is a graveyard of recipes scattered across TikTok, Instagram, websites, screenshots, and saved folders. Creators make ReciMe legible by sharing a post into the app, watching it extract ingredients and steps, then organizing the result into cookbooks, meal plans, and grocery lists.
The strongest independent test imports three different TikTok formats and finds a concrete limitation: detailed captions transfer well, while audio-only or multi-part recipes can omit ingredients. Review publishers widen that proof into pricing and retention friction, including the five-import free cap, a seven-day trial, manual shopping-list cleanup, import reliability, and warnings that deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Two local-news stations aired the same syndicated App of the Day segment, so only the higher-view copy was retained rather than counting the same script twice. A separate muted compilation gives ReciMe only eight seconds among five unrelated Android installs, so it was rejected as incidental and insufficient for product judgment.
One relationship is organic with respect to ReciMe because the creator explicitly states there was no sponsorship and compares the app with competing recipe managers; thirteen relationships remain unknown because generic affiliate language, news coverage, app walkthroughs, or independent-sounding opinions do not prove a commercial tie.
This is a bounded, 100% non-official YouTube sample, not a census of ReciMe's creator program or market coverage.
