Across 255 fully audited public posts from 46 creators—199 TikToks and 56 YouTube videos—the sample shows three different distribution systems for the same job-search suite. The reach engine is staged Interview Buddy suspense: AIApply's official TikTok and the dedicated `Rob.getsyouhired` publisher hide a generated-answer phone beside a live interview and let the risk of being caught carry 13.6M-, 11M-, 6M- and 3M-view breakouts.
A second short-form play makes Auto Apply legible by pricing manual applications as wasted hours, then showing the job queue, generated resume and accept-or-decline workflow. Search intent belongs to independent software-review and tutorial channels, which promise “worth it” or “legit or scam” verdicts and keep the real interface on screen; Hout's critical 12.8K-view review ran about 143× his recent median and ends by cancelling the subscription.
The commercial mechanism is explicit without making every row paid. AIApply publicly promises affiliates `30% Recurring Commission Forever`, says it has `Creators 1500+`, and reports `$100k+` paid to partners. Seven retained creators expose creator-specific `?via=` links, while no retained post carried a platform paid-partnership label or an explicit `#ad`; repeated publishing and brand-owned accounts remain `unknown`, not silently upgraded to paid.
The derived public payment layer marks 22 posts `likely` because a creator relationship or audited link CTA clears that separate bar. Most posts still avoid an ask: 210 have no CTA, 24 ask for a follow, and 21 send viewers to a link. Product proof is unusually visual—160 posts keep real UI or operation on screen, versus 21 medium- and 74 low-visibility posts.
This is a stratified public sample, not a census. Discovery ran brand-first, creator-first and audience-first across 600 unique YouTube candidates plus two dedicated TikTok feeds. Five videos over ten minutes were skipped before download, two YouTube metadata requests stayed inaccessible, eleven phrase-level false positives actually covered Manus, Pulse, JobAssist or generic “AI apply” behavior, and one TikTok remained an HTTP 403 after the bounded artifact attempt.
Thirty fresh product/interview-specific TikToks were added from the two dedicated feeds rather than retrying failures or padding with unrelated career noise. Bios and independent recent-feed caption scans are recorded for all 46 creators; those scans may miss spoken or on-screen brand mentions.
